Services for Faculty: Retiree Library Privileges

The library is happy to extend the following library privileges to retired faculty and staff.

• Off-campus access to ebooks and other electronic resources are limited by our licensing agreement. Off-campus access is currently limited to faculty holding emeritus status.
• Retirees may continue to borrow physical items from the circulating collections of the A&M-Victoria and VC libraries. Retirees may check out up to three items at one time for a two-week period.
• Interlibrary Loan services are available to retirees. Electronic items, such as journal articles, will be sent by email. Physical ILL may be requested for pickup at the A&M-Victoria library in Victoria only and is limited to one item at a time. We are unable to mail books to another location. The service is free, but any late fees or replacement charges are paid by the borrower.
• Reference services, including chat, phone and email (askalibrarian@uhv.edu), are available to all users.
